Carling Black Label is renowned as Africa’s Most Awarded beer but has always struggled to escape its brown bottle stigma, so in 2024, we were tasked with introducing Carling Gold Label, a new, limited-edition premium beer crafted with meticulously sourced golden malt to deliver an exceptional aroma. Initially conceived as an experimental endeavour to gauge consumer appreciation for a high-quality beer that diverges from the traditional brown bottle, our team dedicated the better part of the year to refining its design. We were proud to present a final product that embodies a refined and sophisticated aesthetic.
